JULY 2017 Research Alert

This month we added four new studies to the Best Practice Database, the research repository for Best Practices, LLC. In a sure sign of a hot topic, this month's new studies all focus on the growing trend of using medical roles as part of interactions with payers. Two of the new studies come from research regarding the use of field medical teams for payer interactions. One of the studies is about the characteristics and coverage of the field medical roles that interact with payers. The other field medical team study focuses on the activities and staffing levels of field medical team roles that interact with payers. The last two studies are from our new report on the role Medical Affairs plays in delivering value to payer groups. These studies provide benchmarks around Medical Affairs use of targeting, data, resources, training and internal coordination to enhance its interactions with payers.

The new Best Practices, LLC studies listed below under New Research explore how leading companies have made their operations more effective across these different areas.
