KPMG Peat Marwick
KPMG Peat Marwick recently reengineered its audit services process to
clients. The reengineering of this core process required retraining for all
line managers and associates. This enabled KPMG to review the return
associated with total training deployed on the updated audit process against
improvements observable in the new audit process. (Improvements could be
viewed in terms of cycle time reduction of audits and total fees generated.)
These improvements were then compared to a baseline of the pre reengineered
audit process cycle times and revenue levels.
